Ahhhh....2010...loving it

6 January 2010

I cant imagine how its possible.... but I feel cleansed by creating my list for 2010.... it has strengthened my resolve to live life the way I want....and I have been enjoying lots of the small things in life....making some plans..... finishing off some projects.....and getting some things sorted...

Thankyou so much for all the lovely and positive comments.... and support for my list.....Id love to think that maybe you might also have created a list....and we could all be working toward our goals together this year...
Ohh and #25 on my list....is something Ive wanted to do in ages.... (Leanne Id love to have you join me)....but I'm a little chicken...and each time the kids try and coax me in the door...I find an excuse....but I am determined that this is the year...and it WILL happen....so more on that later...

Here are a few things I'm grateful for the last few days.....

I'm feeling better and better..... I'm healing.... and my energy is returning... I wrote a little about that story here..... for anyone who is interested.

Ive been spending time with Ian and the kids flying a mission on the wii..... its been fun....and we have all been enjoying the challenge together.

I'm loving the summer and our pergola area.... Ian has made me the most fantastic big table.... and we have added some larger trees in nice new sandstone pots.... its cool and comfy and we have been eating outdoors most evenings... Ive even been enjoying my breakfast outdoors in the mornings...

Ive finally replaced a few of my vegies in the garden..... my poor old tomatoes that were destroyed by the storm in November have been replaced....as has my silverbeet and basil....I'm having a second attempt at cucumbers..and my broccoli that was planted months ago is finally almost ready to pick...weird...who would have thought it would be summer broccoli.

We have been enjoying some lovely fresh nectarines off out tiny little dwarf tree.... its all of 60cm tall and its been loaded with nectarines... Bella loves them too..
I finally finished off a gorgeous bag I had been making..... it had been sitting on my desk waiting for rings since before Christmas....(thanks to Janelle who kindly sent me some)....Its such a sweet little bag....a perfect size..... and its one of Janelles patterns...called 'Audrey'
I also enjoyed some sewing for a gift yesterday..... Brionys friend Hannah was turning 16 ....so we made her a bag as part of her gift.... she had often admired Brionys @ home messenger tote....another of Janelles patterns....and now she has her very own...
Well this post has taken long enough..... with multiple interruptions....like some driving practice with Briony..... visitors for coffee.....and a dash to the local fruit and veg outlet for tomatoes... I think Ill leave it at this for today....
