D.I.A - Day Three - Bibs for the girls...

2 June 2010

Mmmm.... would I ever bother to make these again?
Not sure! ... they were easy.... they were quick..... but my appliques looked ridiculous.....and seeing as they took me the greatest part of a day to make.....it really would have been easier to buy them from the store.
But there would have been no fun in that hey! ...this is about creating....having fun....and crossing off the to-do list....and I distinctly recall bibs on my to-do list.

So here they are ..... two each......

Brooke's were made from a sweet little pattern I found at nested.typepad.com ... the first bib was as per the pattern....the second one I left off the pocket and added the applique.

Bella's were made larger and cut from a pattern of an existing bib I had here.....

As usual Bella was not particularly obliging with the photos.....

She much preferred to 'try on' some fabric ... it looked rather lovely draped around her neck....

Ohh yes Bella.....that's a birdie on this one....

Thankfully Brooke liked hers..... she slept through the fitting session and missed all the excitement...

Cant wait for tomorrow....I have a pattern and some fabric sitting waiting for me....
