etzcetera magazine - issue 2

16 September 2011

Well I know...
Im a little behind the 8 ball with this post ...
you have probably all been enjoying the latest issue for a couple of weeks now.

I have already spent some quiet time browsing through...but Im waiting for a little longer snippet of 'me time' to really soak in some of the articles...and to try some of the projects.

I was thrilled to be able to share another super simple stitched project....
This time I created a little drawstring 'book bag' just perfect for those library books or small toys.

I made one each for Bella and Brooke...
and they use them to cart their little treasures between home and 'Nans house'.

Bella was a sweetie....and helped me with some photos....

These are so simple to make.... but if you are someone who doesn't stitch....
.....or thinks they cant...
Janelles 'Sew Lovely' series is the perfect starting block...it steps through the process of creating a patchwork runner...from the very beginning to the final project.
Speaking from experience I can say that Janelles instructions are always so easy to understand and follow....and I thank her for my ever growing love of stitching and fabric.

Thanks Kim for another beautiful issue of etzcetera magazine.
