escape 2 create layouts...

20 March 2014

I am really excited to share my versions of the four classes I took at e2c.
The teachers this year blew us away with such gorgeous projects.... products...and techniques.
I came away with a mini book and 3 layouts I love very much.

First class was Kims...
I adore my mini-book....made from Project Life cards... I created mine as a keepsake for Bella all about our weekend away at Ardrossan recently.
Probably the best part of Kims class for me....was when she shared her passion about Project Life...
and her story of how much enjoyment her family get from the moments she has captured.
I had decided Project Life was not for me...
and in the traditional sense of the word I don't believe it is...
but after listening to Kim... I had to admit that it is a very unique way of keeping memories...
so perhaps a modified simple version may work for me.

All that aside.... the class was fabulous....and I love my mini-book to bits.

 Next class was Natalies.....
I am certain I could hear an evil little chuckle as we all set to work on the coolest origami techniques..
I cant forget to add that I put my assistant (Kim) to work to help make my stars...haha
Natalie was so entertaining as she delivered her class...
and I loved the combo of products...and techniques.... things I had never tried before.
The gold rub-ons were stunning too... loved them....and I adore my end product layout too.
(I've shared some photos of the paperwork in detail)

Next class was beautiful Ginas...
I adored the layered tags and the addition of the water colours... I must admit I'm generally nervous when I love a layout and then hover over it with a wet paintbrush... but I took a deep breathe and followed the instructions....and loved the end result.

Then our final class was Celestes...
What a little pocket rocket Celeste is...and her layout was bright and fun...
with a cool little confetti pocket...and layers...tags and hand drawn lines.. lots of new little challenges there for me too.
I was totally chuffed with my layout.

THANK YOU so much to the  four awesome teachers that inspired us this year....
