I finally got around to altering this skirt for Briony.

Yep its a little bit ugly (Shhh...don't tell her I said so)....
....but Briony loved it the minute she saw it in the Op shop (her favourite weekend pastime) ....she lovingly brought it home and explained her 'vision' of it becoming a dress....

So..... we took a section out of the back seam.... which made the waistband fit her chest....and then from the removed fabric we had enough to make some tie straps.....
She popped on a belt....and even I had to wasn't ugly anymore...

    wow, this bought back some memories for me, I use to make shorts and skirts out of "out there" curtain material when i was about Briony's age. great job ladies, the end product looks fantastic.
