Just now....I was clearing my desk....
I had a mountain of layouts that needed to be put into albums...
I had a pile of unfinished projects...
new products...
scraps of paper...
and the usual crafting mess....
but then...
this layout stopped me for a moment...I stopped shuffling papers....
I stopped looking at the pile of layouts I needed to 'deal' with...
and just for a few seconds I was back in Melbourne...
Somehow this layout just captured the weekend...and what a great time we were having.
...and not that I needed it...
it was a little reminder of the real reason for scrapbooking.

yes i LOVE it too!! Great layout Mardi....and it is great to capture these memories so we can reflect back on these times!!
ReplyDeleteIt really is hey...sometimes I get a bit lazy scrapping the moments....but its when I look back I appreciate them..... I feel so lucky to be a scrapbooker.
