Scrapbooking with friends ....

27 July 2015

Every so often I get together with some of my 'scrapbook loving' local friends .... on these nights I usually organise a 'kit' of products and create a layout that we can sit and do together. Its a great way to chat...scrap and for them to try some new techniques and new products.

Just recently we scrapped this layout....it records our incident packed trip to the Eagles concert... there were so many disastrous moments on this trip that it just needed to be put down on paper. Like the inclement weather and a freak lightening storm.... our soaking wet bed... and the wheel that fell off our friends car on the way home.
So I added in a handmade flip album to house some additional photos. and a pocket to slip in the tickets and extra memorabilia.

Supplies / Cardstock - Bazzill, Canson Watercolour paper. Pattern papers - Crate paper open road collection. Alphabets - October Afternoon stickers.  Embellishments - Epiphany clear dots, Heidi Swapp masks and mists, machine stitching.

I really loved the way it came together so on the night as the girls were creating theirs....I made another ...almost identical but with different papers to pop in the photos of our recent weekend in Adelaide.
