Sharing today another of my layouts from Jot Magazine issue 14
This one was a part of the 'Doodle-Y-Doo gallery.
Its funny....I doodle on everything when I am on the phone...in a lecture... passing time... but when it was intentional and for a purpose I found it made me a little nervous.
In the end I was reasonably happy with my little doodled snail...
and most importantly I really happy to have this story recorded.
Love the story, too precious not to document & keep forever. Love your page Mardi....the mix n matchy of the various colours and papers!! Hope you got to meet Old Grandpa!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue... nope I didn't get to meet him....apparently he passed away during the holidays. :(
DeleteI love that about scrapbooking hey.... it gets these stories down on paper so they arent forgotten.
Mardi x
It's such a lovely photo to go with the story too. It's a perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sian.... its not always easy finding the perfect shot. x
DeleteI really LIKE this story & accompanying layout. What innocence your daughter has, oh so glad you captured this tale. Old Grandpa is now famous, I wonder how he feels about that :)
ReplyDeleteShe is a funny little character.... there is an update on Old Grandpa though....sadly he passed away...I'm hoping it wasn't the fame that killed him :(
