...Boy oh boy.....I had so much blog catching up to do !!!

...and this morning seemed to be the perfect time..... its drizzling rain (miracles) .... Ian is at work...Mitch is at a mates....Brent is in Waikerie...and Briony has Hannah staying and they are quietly playing monopoly on the lounge room floor.

oh....and there are men outside putting up a shed... and when they knocked at the door to get my car moved I was still in my sexy pj's (or actually not that sexy) ...and had to send Briony out with the car keys and ask them to move it for me....... now Im feeling too embarrassed to leave the house.....I hope it doesnt take them too long to erect this shed...lol

...anyway I have been tagged...... thanks to Kathie, Jolene, Court, Tammy, Yvette ... and possibly someone else Ive forgotten...lol

Here are the rules:
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write down their seven facts and copy/paste these rules. You then need to tag 7 people. Don't forget to leave them a comment on their blog telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

so here goes.....

#1 - when I was 16 I left school and home and took a job as a Governess on a remote outback station .... I was responsible for assisting two children with their correspondance schooling via 'school of the air' ....there was no electricity...no phone and no television..... I grew up quickly!

#2 - I was raised on a farm..... I have worked hard in the sheep yards and shearing sheds...I even shore a ram with hand shears..... I have spent many many hours on a tractor working up the paddocks and putting in crops ...Yep...I was a real farm girl.

#3 - As a child I had a horse named Berlackie...he was a little devil... he bucked and pig rooted everytime I rode him .... but I still loved him.

#4- I have known my DH Ian all my life..... I even have a card from Ians parents and Ian... congratulating my parents on my birth.... we started going out together when I was 17.5 and moved to Queensland together when I was 19.

#5 - I hate to cook.....I whinge about it all the time... but I actually can....and do.

#6 - I loved to sew...I used to sew most of my childrens clothes...and even my own....good for a laugh now...hehe

#7- Im pertified of falling off cliffs ...I love to look over the edge but have to slide along on my stomach until I can just peer over the edge....I even dream about falling...and its always off cliffs.

  2. Oh my goodness... I got goosebumps when I read that Ian's parents sent your parents a congratulations card when you were born! That is just gorgeous that you've known each other forever :)

  3. Wow! That's amazing that you've known Ian all your life. As someone who only met her husband when she was 35, I envy that, I really do!
LOL at the workmen and the pj's. I'm sure they've seen it all. I wouldn't be too worried. My ex used to own a lawnmowing route and he used to have some wicked stories along those lines ;).

  5. Found your blog via Kathy Pitt's. Just wanted to say that where I live in Liverpool UK some people wear PJs when they go out & no-one bats an eye lid!!!!!! It makes me laugh so much when you see a girl in the supermarket in PJs, heels, make up & holding a handbag!! LOL! I'm with you though, I hide if I even think any one will see me in my PJs! ;O)

    Fun to read your blog/tags.
