Oopps...late again...

25 May 2009

Ive done it again...
The Boxx newsletter is almost due...and I havent shared my projects from the one before....
You can read the entire newsletter here..... it is...as usual...packed with yummy new products...gorgeous layouts and all the news of the upcoming October retreat.....

So.... here are my contributions.....
I made my Mum this little Mothers Day album..... here it is... all tied up in a calico bow....

I asked each member of the family to jot down what they loved about Granny..... and then I scrapped all of their sentiments into this adorable little Cosmo Cricket blackboard album...

Briony wrote "I love you because you cook good food....tell good stories and you are cool"

Brent wrote "I love you because you remember that I was the most well behaved baby/child you had ever seen"

I also had a play with the April BOS.... I loved the texture of these papers.....and the pink paislee rub-ons were 'very noice' too...

...and finally...my 'Whisper' layout. We were all given a brief of what the original layout looked like....and from that...scrapped our own versions..
Lets just say...there was a LOT of variation!! ....I dont think any two looked the same.... but it was fun....and I was kinda happy with my layout....
So.... better get off here...and back to my shopping list....Im determined to get the meals organised again in this house....it makes life so much easier when I plan and shop once a week.
Unfortunatly I fell of the rails a few weeks ago and its been raffeties rules since..... but this morning...I have the recipe books out....and the shopping list almost done......
Found some yummy new things to try too.... like a baked rissotto and a veal ragu rigatoni...

  1. I'm pretty sure that you're going to get blogger of the year pretty soon if you keep this regular posting up. ;)

Just catching up on your blog ... I love your layouts (as usual) and your book looks lovely - I did something similar for my sister's 30th a couple of years ago.
I laughed when I saw you had layouts that were 'done enough' - that's my attitude too some of the time ... agonising is for me often wasting time. I would be quite happy to have a 'done enough' layout that looked like yours! And I also had a giggle at your pile of unfinished layouts. I still have one too. :)
