Ballooning...

There is something so beautiful about hot air balloons...

I was so lucky to have a balloon ride a few years ago thanks to my dear friend Keryn....so I know first hand just how amazing it is.....so peaceful.....and relaxing.

The thing that stuck in my mind was how quiet and gentle it was.

Sunday morning Ian helped 'ground crew' for a local balloon pilot....

He was the rope holder....and drove the car to collect them after landing.

He thoroughly enjoyed it....

I arrived home from night shift just in time to take a few snaps of the lucky ballooners taking off....

Here they are filling it up...(please excuse my lack of correct terminology...)

Then it was full....or inflated....and ready for take off.....
