Paper and glue...

25 May 2012

Thought Id share a couple of layouts I whipped together this week....
I loved using up scraps that were on my desk.....some new bits and pieces that I bought at the e2c retreat.... some hero arts vintage typewriter stamps...washi tape...
and the cutest metal buttons from here..

  1. Awesome... as always Mardi... how fabulous is the photo in your 'Waiting' layout... and the stamping... and love the paper layering in 'Little Miss'... and of course... the gorgeous photo...

    Have a wonderful weekend...

  2. Love them Mardi, so lovely to see some layouts :) not that I have been doing any either LOL. Speaking of scrapping, I have some Hambly washi tape and a Echo Park kit here for you! Have had it for ages for when we next get together..

  3. Beautiful pages Mardi. I especially love the mix in the second one, of course it's probably the floral sheeting that lured me in. You have a knack of throwing it all in, giving it a mix and tadaaa..perfection.

Well done with the dinner planning. Everything looks delicious. I have been more organised lately as well. It must be because the weather temp has dropped and I need comfort foods.

I have been living on soup of one kind or another this last week as we have all been sick here with nasty coughs and colds and soup feels nice going down my sore throat.

I love your recent scrapbooking creations. I too have been scrapbooking recently and entering some challenges at different web sites. I have some of my scrapbooking work on my Facebook page is you would like to see any.

Have a wonderful week ahead and keep warm. From Susan McGuire (smiles1965) from Scrapboxx.

  5. Love your layout and mix of papers! My flair looks perfect with them! :)

  6. I was going to write a comment about how awesome the stamped title is in the first layout (I'm into stamped titles at the moment), and then I saw the second layout- WOW!
Love the way you've used the scraps! It's beautiful!
