Easy Quiche recipe

13 July 2012

Alex ....here is the recipe for you... and for anyone else how wants to make a quick..tasty lunch.

Easy Quiche

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 3/4 cup of pastry mix (I generally use anchor brand)
  • tblspn parsley
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon pieces
  • can of sweet corn.

  • Instructions
    1. Put eggs, milk, cream and pastry mix into a bowl and beat with an electric beater really well. (Sometimes I am too lazy to get out the beaters so I use a hand whisk which works perfectly fine too)
    2. Add other ingredients and mix.
    3. Pour into a greased tall sided quiche dish and bake at 380 deg for 40 mins or until cooked.

    Additional notes

This is such an adaptable recipe.....I often leave out the bacon and add grated      carrot or zucchini which makes more of a zucchini slice.
You will know its cooked  when it is set and a skewer comes out clean.

I thought I was the only one that used pastry mix! It makes it so easy & really yum too! I think my recipe is just about identical to yours, but as you say you can put in whatever you want/don't want.
