Our Christmas...

There is no doubt that the girlies have added a whole new level to Christmas excitement around here...

This year was super special as both of them were SO excited...

Our Christmas really began over the weekend...

James and Kel and kids came for a visit which was just wonderful.

The girls were over the moon to have cousin Evie here to play...

and although the weather was ridiculously warm we spent time at the lake..

and just chilling at home.....and managed to stay cool and have a relaxing time.

I even twisted their arm.... and kept them here an extra night.... 

and then of course I cried when they left for home.

Then it was Christmas day....
Ian and I were thrilled when Brent and Alex and the girls stayed over...it meant we were able to get in on the action early in the morning....
and it was such a lot of fun seeing their excitement as they opened their Santa sacks.
It wasnt long before our lounge room was just a mountain of wrapping paper.....

The rest of the day involved....
Roast dinner...
Christmas pudding...
way too many nibbles...
a little nap on the couch with the girlies...
Some new kiddie movies...
board games...
and totem tennis.

Its hard to believe its all over for another year.
