The Respiratory blend
- Diffuse ..especially great at night ..and during those times of the year you needs additional respiratory support.
- Diffuse along with Lavender at night for a great sleep.
- I love this tip .. don't a have diffuser? add a drop of Easy Air and Frankincense to the palm of your hand... close you fist and breathe through the small opening. A great way to enjoy the benefits of Easy Air.
- Add a couple of drops to your pillow to assist with easier breathing and for a sound sleep.
- Dilute with fractionated coconut oil in a 10 ml rollerball and apply to the feet..chest and back as a rub.
- Diffuse to freshen the air when things smell damp or need a freshen.
- If you feel blocked through the nose and sinuses...add a drop to your finger and rub along the brow and sinus area.. avoid the eyes. This helps to open up and clear.
ON GUARD
The protective blend
- Diffuse each day to give everyone the benefit of some immune protection... but particularly when there some bugs going around.
- Make a 10 ml rollerball with an immune boost blend - 5 drops each of Frankincense, Tea Tree, Lemon and On Guard topped up with Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO).
- Mix 5/6 drops with 1/2 cup of bicarb as an excellent cleaner....great for the bath.
- Make your own healthy version of 'Sanitizing Hand Gel' (without the nasty Triclosan) - Recipe HERE
- Make your own foaming hand soap - Recipe HERE
- Make you bench cleaning spray - 10 drops Onguard..10 drops Lemon in a 250 ml spray bottle topped with water. It smells great and leaves no nasty chemical residue.
- Diffuse just for that lovely homey smell...the Clove ad Cinnamon oil smells like baking.
LAVENDER
- Make a 'sleepy potion' (this works a treat in our home) Mix 10 drops of Lavender to a 30 ml spray bottle and top with fractionated coconut oil. Massage in at bedtime.
- Or mix Lavender with water in a spray bottle and give the bedlinen a mist at night for a beautiful Lavender scent.
- A few drops straight from the bottle rubbed to feet and chest works equally well.
- Diffuse at night for a calm and restful sleep.
- Create an 'ouch' spray in a 30ml spray bottle with 5 drops of Lavender..5 drops of Tea Tree and 5 drops of Frankincense ...top with fractionated coconut oil. Apply to all those little scrapes...abrasions ..cuts...bites and minor burns to assist with the pain and healing.
- Use for its calming and soothing emotional benefit...a drop to the temples..and back to the neck in times of stress to calm an anxious mind.
- Great for soothing a babies bum.... you can make your own nappy wipes... or add a drop to some fractionated coconut and use it at change time.
- Massage your kids feet at bedtime as a calming nighttime routine.
- Use a dab on those hormonal spots to assist with healing.
- Add a drop to some Epsom Salts and make a relaxing foot bath at the end of a long day.
- Make some playdough and add a drop for a beautiful calming affect while they play.

- DIY your own hairspray - add Lavender or Peppermint or another choice of oil.
TEA TREE
- Make a spray for your kids hats and hair using Tea Tree (and Rosemary) in water - those pesky head lice hate the smell.
- Make a cleaning spray 15 drops to a spray bottle - great for the bathrooms and toilets.
- Super for toilet cleaning... sprinkle some bicarb in the bowl....add 4 / 5 drops of Tea Tree and allow to sit.... brush and flush....sparkly!
- Add to the immune boost blend rollerball blend.
- Great for feet health and 'little issues'.... especially after using public amenities. Apply a few drops to those areas.
- Soothe any little blemishes...add a drop to your daily moisturiser or dab on to spots as required.
- Cold sores? Use Peppermint before the blister appears....and then switch to Tea Tree to aid with healing.
- Use as deodorant...a drop rubbed under each arm....good to go! No nasty aluminium.

FRANKINCENSE
- Apply a few drops to the wrists and inhale for a sense of calm.... it blends beautifully with Lavender too.
- Calm your nerves ...apply Frankincense...Wild Orange and Peppermint into your hand and inhale. Alternatively diffuse this combination.
- I add to my facial moisturiser for its nourishing cell rejuvenation benefits.
- Add a drop or two to the bath and soak for a calming ..and soothing bath...perfect for relaxation.
- Wear as a purefume...
- Pop a drop under your tongue every morning for its anti-inflammatory benefit.
- Frankincense enhances the other oils...so add a drop to your blends.
- Add it as part of your immune Rollerball blend.
- Diffuse for its relaxing benefit.... what a beautiful way to start the day and your yoga practice...if you have one!
- Frankincense is wonderfully nourishing for wound healing ..stretch marks and dark spots /blemishes.
OREGANO
Oregano is a very hot oil so always dilute well and keep away from sensitive areas.
- Apply to kill warts - protect surrounding skin.
- Use to support the immune system when you feel something brewing. Add some drops to your daily immune blend.
- Use in your cleaning spray for its anti-bacterial properties.
- Diffuse with Easy Air - particularly great for sinus woes.
- Flavour your meal - go easy though... one dip of a toothpick may be enough...go slow and add more as required to taste.
LEMON
- Diffuse lemon to neutralise odours. Great for teen bedrooms. Use a few drops on a cotton ball in your fridge, shoes, or wherever you want to get rid of nasty smells.
- Put 2 drops of lemon oil in your water daily to support metabolism,naturally cleanse the body and aid digestion.
- Diffusing lemon essential oil in the air can lift mood and fight depression. Add a drop or two of Peppermint to keep you alert.
- Add to cooking - like salmon on the BBQ, Hummous, Smoothies, Bliss balls etc.
- Soothe an irritated throat, apply Frankincense and Lemon over the throat area or take a drop of Lemon in a small amount of raw honey (not suitable for children under 1).
- Add a couple drops of Lemon essential oil to your dishwater or to the rinse section of your dishwasher. Lemon is a great grease cutter and will leave your glassware sparkling.
- Make an All Purpose Cleaning Spray. In a glass bottle with a spray trigger (optional - add a quarter cup of Vinegar) plus 20 -30 drops of your choice of essential oils. (I love Lemon and On Guard.)
- Pick Me Up. When you lack motivation or energy, try rubbing a drop of Lemon on your hands, the back of your neck or even through your hair.
- Lemon promotes a healthy respiratory function, try diffusing two drops Lemon, two drops Peppermint and two drops Lavender for a great seasonal relief blend.
- Use lemon essential oil in a spray bottle with water to keep fruit fresh until serving. It will also add a nice zesty flavour.

DIGESTZEN
I mention using a Digestzen rollerball -
(In a 10ml rollerball bottle add 10-20 drops of Digestzen topped up with fractionated coconut oil.)
- DigestZen is a great tummy tamer. Dilute 1 drop of DigestZen with Fractionated Coconut Oil and massage your tummy in a clockwise direction.
- DigestZen can also be used to relive tension and sinus pressure. Simply dilute and apply to your temples. Make a rollerball for ease of application. (I would not have thought of this one.)
- For a tummy upset or bloating add a drop to a glass or water and take internally.
- Excellent for travel...long car trips or flights... mix up into a rollerball and roll on...or smell form the bottle. Great to stop the queasiness.
- Make your own mouth rinse by adding 1-2 drops to 150mls of water.
- Use daily to promote healthy bowels.
- Got anxious knots in your tummy... roll on your Digestzen roller.
- Too much Easter chocolate?... yep Digestzen to the tummy.
PEPPERMINT
- Make a breath spray – a small 30ml spray bottle... add distilled water and a few drops of Peppermint ( more of less to taste) shake as used… ta da…fresh minty breath.
- Bliss balls baby ! - Peppermint chocolate bliss balls are delicious.
- Diffuse for respiratory and sinus support. Or simply inhale deeply from the bottle.
- Make a cooling spray in Summer – add 10-15 drops to a 30 ml spray bottle .. add distilled water and spray face (with eyes closed).. arms…back of neck…anywhere on bare skin and enjoy the cooling affect.
- Make a foot bath – a few drops of peppermint oil and some Epsom salts.
- Deter ANTS and bugs…. Add 15 drops to a 250 ml spray bottle … top with water and spray to stop them in their tracks.
- One of my favourite diffuser recipes..Peppermint and Wild Orange to keep you alert and focused on the task at hand. Great for kids at homework time.
- For head tension – apply diluted peppermint and lavender to temples…neck and forehead.
- To assist in stopping cold sores at the first tingle – apply neat. If a blister is present – use Tea Tree as the Peppermint will sting.
- Stop motion sickness…inhale from the bottle.
- Use as part of the Hayfever Bomb –
- Make a breath spray in a 30ml spray bottle add 5 drops of Peppermint and top with water.
HAYFEVER BOMB. Use this as a preventative or during a full blown attack.

The Soothing Blend.
- Massage into muscles before and after exercise to support muscles and joints.
- For head and neck tension as a result of too much computer time – massage to shoulder and neck.
- Use for period aches and pain … apply to area of concern (lower back and legs)
- Use for relief of cramps…massage to area.
- Arthritis relief…rub into joints.
- Massage the hands and feet after a long day…. Or give someone a relaxing hand massage.
- This blend contains Blue Tansy and Helichrysum which when used regularly can promote muscle ..joint and bone health. It can promote and maintain a normal inflammatory response in cells.
