Just before I wrap up the end of my 2024 Sewing escapades I wanted to share the last couple of makes.
The first is my 3rd Cielo Top by Closet Core made from this vintage linen fabric I have had in my stash for years. The fabric is not really my thing as far as colour and pattern go... but it just screamed festive to me and I had enough for a Cielo. I have worn this a few times over the Christmas /New Year period and I kind of like it with my natural coloured Clo Bias Skirt.
The last pattern I made in 2024 was a vintage dress pattern Simplicity 9029 that I had in my stash... made from some black and white gingham. I didn't have the highest of hopes for this dress but its turned out so well... and its a lovely throw on in this warmer weather.
