....the bird..

I had to laugh at this conversation with Brent tonight.

He picked me up from work....and as he was driving home....I asked how his day went at work.... he doesn't usually work a full Saturday at the Nursery.... but he did today.
...and because it wasn't a week day... there was only the two of them there... and it was possibly a little lonely......anyway he said....

B- "I talked to a bird today!"

Me- (thinking in my head..... Mmmmm a female or a feathered variety?)

B- " Yep! ...we talked for ages..... he'd tweet.....and Id tweet back"

Me - (I don't actually comment.....just look sideways with my eyebrows raised!!)

B- " Yep....then Id change my tweet...and he'd change his.....like a little conversation....... Id always start my tweet like his and then add a little twist....and so would he....sometimes it was a happy tweet....other times a grumpy tweet"

Me- (still no comment...eyebrows still raised....thinking Ive seriously raised a looney)

B- " so I yelled out to Cliffo (his workmate).... come and check out this bird I'm talking too"

Me- "Brent....he must have thought you were completely losing it"

B- " so Cliffo came over....and I said listen to this..... and I tweeted ..... and.........nothing!)

Me- LOL

B- " so Cliffo says...Yeah right man...... I haven't got time for this...... and walked off"

Me - "Yep...I told you....he probably thinks you are nuts!"

B- " so as he walks away.....I tweet again..... and my bird tweets back........ Cliffo yells out....that sucks...that bird obviously doesn't like me"

B- "Its boring without my MP3 player..... I had to talk to someone"

...thats my boy!
