layouts..

1 September 2007

I love to be able to share new layouts....

This first one is of Mitch and Briony on Ians old motorbike.....they love to get it out...and cruise around between the rows of grapevines..... and its good safe fun.... makes me laugh to see them... there cheeky and happy eyes peering out from the inside of those over sized helmets...lol.
This layout was also created using desk scraps....I love these kind of layouts..... they just come together... an eclectic mix of nothing that matches.....which eventually all looks like it was made to match. (mmm...not sure that makes sense...but just take my word on it!)
...this next one was a real quickie...... I had printed these photos off for another layout entirely...but then had a change of plan...and didn't use them.....so rather than waste them.... I created a very simple photo strip.... two strips of pp... some flowers cut from pp....and a title made from an assortment of alphas..... and a layout Im really happy with.
...and this one..... I'm not too sure what the inspiration was here..... but I was happy with the result....and I used up some pp I was frightened of....and added some bling to the inside of the flower....which is probably not easy to see here.
Ok... thats got the layouts out of the way....now let me tell you what happened to me today..... I'm still ill!! It got to mid-morning and I thought its time for one of my yummy.... machine coffees.....you know the ones where you shhhurk the milk up nice and frothy....and put in two shots of delicious coffee..... mmmmmmm.... well I did that.... and plonked myself at the computer...... coffee...and two slices of toast with jam.... Mmmm mmm! The coffee was a bit hot.....so I started on my toast... and once I finished I reached for my coffee..... beautiful....drinkable now....so I began... and it was nice....I couldn't quite taste it... as the apricot jam had left a tart flavour in my mouth....but I could imagine how nice it was...and I kept sipping away.... UNTIL....I reached about one inch from the bottom.....and it was thick!! ....like cream!!...eeewww...but did I stop.....No!...I took another big swig...holding it in my mouth...... looking into the cup...trying to work out why it felt so different in my mouth.... so I called out to Brent..... he checked in the stainless jug on the bench... dropping it and recoiling away....I could tell it wasnt good....it was totally curdled.... watery...with clumpy lumps..........OMG...........I have never felt so ill !!!! ....... I dry retched for about an hour...... I just couldn't get the sensation out of my mouth.... and I cant believe I never ever tasted anything wrong with it!!! ..... Omg...It still makes me ill!! ahhhh...blahhhhh....blerk........

Mardi I'm sorry, that is a dreadful story, but I was sitting here wetting myself laughing!! Not that I don't feel sorry for you, but I found it amusing that you kept pushing through the pain barrier to finish it off!!!

Your layouts are all amazing....how do you have such a high strike rate all the time?! I love them!
