I may have mentioned in an earlier post that I was planning to give my kitchen dresser a makeover.
I had sort of started it a few months earlier.....but hadn't progressed very far...
meaning that it had become a dumping ground for 'things'...like Tupperware...papers...
and op shop finds....
Eventually I decided enough was enough.....and dedicated a little bit of time to sprucing it up.
I had been keeping my eye out for some vintage wallpaper to add to the back......but hadn't had much success.....I contemplated buying some on Ebay.....but just didn't get around to it....
so I went with fabric....and I'm so glad I did.
It will be easy to remove if I ever wish for a different look.....
and its nice to have these beautiful floral fabrics on display.
So....here it is.....the finished project.
Ive loaded it up with stacks of my older plates and serving platters....as well as a few recent finds.
I've been cooking up a storm these last few weeks....
and so Ive loved having all this beautiful crockery nice and handy.
(See my 'photography' sign.....courtesy of a well known bookstore closing down sale......I carried that baby around shopping all afternoon.....Ian thought I was silly...and at no stage would he even hold it for me....
"you wanted it.....you carry it"...lol)
If you haven't already seen it.....check out Jodie's gorgeous dresser makeover ...
