In the kitchen.... Chinese chicken dumplings

I'm not a fan of fiddly in the kitchen....actually quite often I'm not a fan of anything in the kitchen.
However...
Of late.... I've been enjoying coming up with healthy food options.... foods with delicious flavours....but lighter on the calories.

So.....this week I had a play with Chinese dumpling wrappers....
and made these delicious little dumplings.

Here they are filled and waiting to be cooked.....


Then three minutes in the pot...

resulting in these...
delicious with sweet chili dipping sauce....

(I modified slightly....I skipped the muslin cloth step.....and just boiled mine in water as opposed to steaming)
I think Ill definitely be making these again..... a little fiddly but worth the effort.

    They are delicious!

    I have made these 3 times after seeing the recipe on here!.. they are always a hit in this house with empty plates and no leftovers!
    Hubby has requested them for dinner on Friday night as he has missed them after being away for 2 weeks! :)
