Its a funny thing... now its on my radar the penny has dropped....  and I wonder why I never put two and two together before.

I have been reading as much as I can bear ...and I've also joined some Facebook Groups with a wealth of information. I am in two minds. I honestly think that yes....there are probably a number of symptoms that we can directly attribute to breast implants... but there are other symptoms I am unsure about.
To me... its pretty unrealistic to blame every single symptom on the implants.

However...I definitely think I will feel much healthier once these implants are out....and all those rouge pieces of silicone are rounded up and removed. I am hopeful that I will notice some improvements and better health in the months to come.
Its also been a little frustrating that I have worked hard on my health.... and yet these niggly symptoms have got worse. Having said that.....I sleep well... my mental health is intact... my home is tox free....all thanks to mother nature and essential oils. I hate to imagine the state I would be in if I was still adding that external chemical load as well.

I have taken this list of BII symptoms from the Healing Breast Implant Illness site... it has a comprehensive resource library on everything you could possibly want to know about Breast implant Illness.
This collection of Implant Illness (BII) symptoms was gathered from over 90,000 women ... and the most common symptoms were  -

From what I have read a lot of women feel better almost instantly after 'explant'...  and continue to improve over the weeks that follow.
Others take time to renew their energy and health.... and a post implant detox is recommended.

Personally I am not going to get too caught up in 'what to expect' ... I will just plod along on my own recovery... and take it as it comes. Its been so wonderful that so many women are sharing their stories... it demonstrates that everyone is different... but the support and kinship in the groups is positive and real.
