Snow Globes...

6 January 2015

Christmas came and went in a big fat blur ..
I didn't seem to muster the energy for any of my usual 'Christmas activities'
and probably for the very first time I actually listened to my hubby and let all the non-important things slide.
By taking some of the pressure off I was able to enjoy other things more.

One of the activities I did make time for was making these Snow Globes with the girls...
I had often seen them and thought they looked really cute and 'do-able'
and then I stumbled across this wonderful Workshop..

A heartfelt Christmas Workshop by one of my favourite inspirations..Wilna.
One of the projects was 'Snow Globes'
that was it...
I was in.

I never did manage to create one single other project from the workshop
but we made some pretty awesome 'Snow Globes'

The moment they proudly took them home to Mummy...
and found the perfect spot to display them was the sweetest moment of all.

    1. The girls loved them...especially choosing their little 'scenes' to go inside. They were SO proud of them. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year Jen x

Brilliant project (obviously it *had* to be Wilna's!)

    1. I am such a Wilna fan... she turns everything she touches into beauty in my opinion... and her voice is so soothing to me too.
      Hope all is well...xx

  3. The pressure we put on ourselves is amazing. I have had to let go of making my own Christmas cards - and guess what, the world didn't come to an end!! Love the snow globes, these are the precious moments your beautiful grandies will remembers.

    1. Why do we do that Meredith?...I found the same as you....there were no world stopping moments when I let some things slip.... and I was far better for it. I think the time spent with the grandies making things... was time better spent... new traditions are being made perhaps.
      Mardi xx
